1. No dose adjustment is required for elderly patients, but those weighing less than 50 kg are at risk of increased bleeding.
2. Etimethotide is classified as pregnancy safety category B.
3. Minimize trauma to blood vessels and other sites, and avoid intravenous administration at sites where compression for hemostasis is difficult.
4. After hemostasis at the femoral artery puncture site and after discontinuation of epitubide and heparin, patients should be observed for at least 4 hours.
5. The arterial catheter sheath should only be removed if the activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) is less than 45 seconds. For patients undergoing PCI, the arterial catheter sheath should only be removed after heparin has been discontinued and its effects have worn off.
6. If uncontrollable bleeding occurs, epitubide and heparin should be discontinued immediately.
7. Store at 2–8°C.
